I would have thought they would be looking at a c section as a last resort

I'd rather be induced that CHOOSE to have major surgery!!!

OMG that's sooooo bad!! I can't believe what people get told sometimes. If it weren't for BB I would probably be a lot more naive about it all as well.... in fact I find it very hard to try to explain things to others also especially without sounding like I know it all and telling them what to do if you know what I mean. OMG I sooooo can't get over that!!! She's certainly going to have a painful Christmas too. I remember it was not much fun after the c/s at all!

That is just totally insane and so irresponsible of the ob, of course every first time parent wants their bubs out asap, but your right she could end up still being in hospital for christmas i guess a second opinion is out of the question.

One of the reasons I am following my OB to a different hospital and was public for antenatal care. I will get admitted for the birth as a private patient (and only then so I can have the least intervention possible with an experienced OB if our VBAC isn't going smoothly and not get a nervous registrar )

My due date is Christmas and I know there would have been pressure to book in for a c-section with a private OB as they are either on holidays with a locum attending or not wanting a call out on Christmas day

MummaBear I know your post was from over a year ago but who was the OB? And how are you going with that pink one? Any luck with the IVF? (I've seen another post by on about this) Hope you are well
