I gave birth at 6:50 am, was given the all clear to go home at 11 but didn't leave until 12pm (friends of ours who had their baby a few days before us came down from the ward to visit)
I am so glad I went home. I just wanted to sleep in my own bed.. I wanted us to settle in at home and spend those first few days as a family. I don't regret it at all!
