Hi All....At my 36 week app apparantly bub was 3/5 engaged, in a great position and apparantly a good but not enormous size now much to my disappointment at my 38 week appointment the midwife has told me that he or she is ....

1. Back in Posterior Position
2. Not engaged at all (although I am aware that especially 2nd time around they sometimes won't engage until labour?)
3. A very big baby

With my first DD she was 10 days overdue, I had a posterior labour with lots of back ache, I felt like I gave into an epidural too early, then after a long time of pushing eventually had a forceps delivery and episi. She was also a whopper at 10pd 7on or 4.74kg!!

I was feeling alot more positive about this birth and doing all the 'right' things such as lots of time on all fours, sitting on birth balls wherever possible, lots of walking, very rarely slouching and doing perri massage religiously. I had researched the spinning babies website and read alot of stuff.

Now feeling very disheartened that apparantly all my 'work' at the moment is leading up to the same birth experience as last time....

Anyway enough with feeling sorry for myself and sorry for the long speel but I was just pretty much wondering for all you mums out there who has had a posterior bub (especially 2nd time around)...

1. Where you overdue with your Posterior bub?
2. Did your Baby turn during labour from Posterior? How long was your labour?
3. Do you have any advise that may help with labour?
4. Am I worrying about nothing?

Thanks
