Hopefully this wil answer all of your questions

Nearly 7 weeks early with PB
OB assisted in turning bub in labour, very quick labour, waters broke, ctx started 45minutes later, another 45 minutes to internal at hospital, 7-8cm, bub was born about 45 min after that.

At home I was kneeling and leaning on a bar stool, rocking it on two legs through each contraction, resting inbetween, then I laboured on my knees leaning over the end of the bed, had to turn right at the end as I needed an Episotomy to get bubs out quickly, as they lost the HB (only as she was too far down).

Labour on your knees, using heat and rubbing on the back is great especially during ctx. I was planning on using the shower but didn't have time, I think the hot water right ont he base of my back would have been really good, as it provided me good relief when I had hurt my back.

And try not to worry, it sounds like you have prepared yourself really well by looking at Spinning Babies as suggested above, sit on chairs back to front, spend more time leaning forward, on all fours, these things can help. But just because bubs is in a posterior position now certainly doean't mean that bubs will still be in the same position in labour.

So much can happen between now and then, you can do this, you can birth this child, you have birthed a big baby before, your body can do it, as your body has been through it before it will remember what it needs to do. Take care xxoo
