Just having a mini freak out before the big day comes. But does having a really tiny cervix opening matter at birth? I remember when I had dye flushed through my tubes I was in excruciating pain because they couldn't get the catheter in my cervix. It kept moving backwards so they had to clamp it to hold it in place while they forced the catheter in. It was the smaller size catheter too![]()
Will this make any difference in my labour?

that's the whole point of labour - to open and dilate the cervix enough to let the baby through. So it won't make any difference to your labour and I'm sure you will give birth just fine
They kept saying how tiny my cervix was too. But good to know!

) would come in many sizes. It's really unhelpful to tell someone that their cervix is 'tiny' because it means nothing. Like your fundal height being big/small. that means nothing apart from the fundal height being big or small kwim?
Or maybe I'm just having a mini freak out
It got me thinking....
