    weirdest pains ever!

Im posting this in here casue im 40+ weeks, but i dont really think its pre-labour pains or anything like that.....Im actually 40+4 weeks and im getting these weird pains. they come in waves about ever ten minutes....BUT.... the pain is right under my boobs, like along the very very top of my bump and round my shoulder blades.....had them most the evening last night, not while i was in bed but they started again this morning!

    Any ideas???

I think it is labour related with one of my labored my whole body ached and I would get all tingly but it hurt...
If it's coming and going I really think it may be the start..
Try resting cause if it is you'll need it!!
Gl babe I hope it's the beginning to meeting your gorgeous baby

In my labour with Phoebe my pains radiated down the fronts of my legs. By that stage I was in established labour though, not that I realised that was the case as the cx were so short in duration.
I reckon it's prelabour at least, especially if the pains are coming in waves!
At least you know that at 40+4 whatever weird pains you're experiencing, the birth of your little one REALLY isn't far away!
    All the best

as a suggestion Beckoes don't walk to try to bring on your labour. If labour for some reason lasts a long time then you will want all of your energy. If it is going to come then it will and at least you will have more energy to greet you little one. Trying to force your body over that edge could just end up costing you the strength you need at some later point. whether that be in labour or after. Just a suggestion. Do what your body wants tho. If you feel like sitting down and chilling, don't walk out of a misguided sense that that is what you are "supposed" to do when you are in labour. Just do what feels right. If walking makes you feel happy then do that too

All sounds very exciting btw. I will be looking out for your announcement

LOL, definitely special. I hadn't heard of it up there either but I hadn't heard of it in your legs until I felt it myself
Enjoy your walk! Have you got a fitball to bounce on? Could be just as good and a bit more relaxing.

Actually I have heard that it can start at the top of your bump and gradually work its way down. I've only read it in books though, so who knows? *shruggs*

It's exciting nonetheless that this could be the start of things!

My labour pains began at the top of my belly. I didn't feel anything below at all in the early stages. I started getting contractions about 18 hours after the first up the top pain!
