What happened when you lost your plug...could this be mine?

I think I just lost my plug! Or part of, I don't know how big they are

Went to the loo, wiped, and a hug glob of snot like stuff landed on my hand. I was like 'EW!' and excited all at once. It was about the size of a 50 cent piece (but not flat like one, big and round iykwim) and clearishy. What do you guys think?

Also, what happened when you lost your plug? When, what did it look like, what happened after?

Sounds like it to me too. There was no blood in mine either until established labour. I think it's the start of it coming away!!

For me both times it meant labour was close. With DD1 I started losing my plug in the morning and was in labour that night. With DD2 I started losing it one day and woke up in the middle of the night in labour

Yep sounds like what you described!! Mine was blood tinged and continued over about 3 days until I went into labour

Oooh sounds like Isla is getting ready

When I started losing my plug it looked like snot too, in my case it over a couple of days. The day I went into labour I had a large bloody show, then nothing until contractions started in the evening.

Won't be long now!

for DD1 i lost mine as my waters broke in hospital - the middy and i went to the bathroom to help me change and there it was in my undies, it was gross and looked like a golf ball sized clear snot ball! i totally freaked big time!

DD1 - it was just blood with a bit of mucus!

maybe both you and Kaytee will have bubs tonight?!

Sounds like your plug of some of it - there could be more to come

with my first the plug started comming away 3 days before DD was born, with the second I started loosing it around 4-5pm and had her at 12.40am

Sounds like a plug. Doesn't mean it's definitely going to happen tonight, but certainly increases the likelihood. Some people loose bits of their plug over a few days or longer, some lose a bit and everything starts, and some don't lose any until labour,

wooohooo!! exciting!!

My plug experience was pretty much like yours, but then I had a bath as I was experiencing some pretty owchie pre labour, when I got out of the bath there was all this jelly like, snotty stuff floating around...ewww.
Then after drying myself,I sat on the towel on the bed to put nickers on and when I stood up a large discish shaped bloody (brown,old blood) thing was on the towel.
that continued for a few days...then I was induced.
