With regards to your pushing stage, I think it would probably make sense to try and stay upright and in "good" open positions to hopefully minimise the time it takes. Having an epidural would put you on your back and could make your pushing less effective, for eg.
I think it is likely to be shorter 2nd time round - I certainly hope so
Talking with your caregiver and support people is a good way to start - work through some ideas for positions/movements together that can help get your baby into a good position and hopefully help them move down and out more quickly.
