Uuuuggghhhh, that is so gross, but so true! The memories just came flooding back!
I forgot to write in here that mine looked like lots and lots of semen!! hehehe there was no hint of blood colours though! Just that familiar yellow/white colour!! 8-[
I am 39 weeks pregnant and im pretty sure i had the show in the evening on the 6th of Novemeber, but still nothing has really happened... i have had contractions here and there but nothing solid...i have done the long fast walks and drank the tea... i was wondering if there was anyone on this forum who had a show but didnt go into labour until more than a week? or if it means anything?
Mustang
I had the show just before i went into Hospital i was in labour and i called the hospital to see if i should come in and they said yes! I went to the toilet and thats when i had the show, so i knew things were going to start soon and omg did they, luckily it the worst of it was in Hospital. I got to the hospital and they took care of me after 12 hrs of labour i had my beautiful little girl Tayneesha. I was 2 days off being 40 weeks pregnant when i had my show.
During labour / Lost show with water being broken
I was loosing bits and pieces of my plug for about 2-3 weeks prior to labour, but lost the rest in a big chunk (about enough to fill a teaspoon) on Tuesday at 4pm and had contractions for several hours afterwards. Wednesday was a quiet day with no contractions at all but then 2am Thursday (today) my waters broke.
Mine started while I was in hospital having contractions. My water broke some 24 hours before my mucous plug dislodged.
lol I need multiple votes too!
First, didn't lose had c/s.
Second, must've been when hossy broke waters? I was in labour but bub was in distress.
Third, this was EXACTLY 2 wks to the day before he was born. My best birthing experience too![]()
Never....
I've only seen 2 other replies from people who didn't see theirs. Is this that unusual?
I'm assuming mine must have been so far into my labours I never noticed?...
ETA ok, I just checked the poll results... I guess it's not that unusual![]()
I didn't see mine. The midwife pointed it out to me, but I really couldn't be bothered changing position to see it.Apparently it came out as a nice complete plug during stage 2.
I lost mine this morning! am hoping things are gonna get moving maybe tonight or in the next few days!!
there was heaps it was very similar to what semen looks like ( no smell or blood ) just the yellowy/white colour like Pee mentioned above had to wipe three times before there was no more on the toilet paper ( sorry for too much info but it happened after i went to the toilet for a wee i felt wet and went and checked things out when i wiped there was my show )

I had mine at 37 weeks and then again at 39 weeks(dunno why i had two 8-[ )and now i'm 1 day overdue! Not much of a sign that labor is coming if you ask me! Mine was like a huge blob of mucus with a hint of blood in it(both times)...Very gross!

Never saw it. Could be still in there!
More than Once! LOL.
Ok, I will go with "During labour" because 3 of them were during labour. The other two were the day before - simply because labour is so damn long it went past midnight! LOL.

I felt funny at some ridiculous time of the morning and stood to go to the loo and "plop" my show fell out on the floor on the way to the loo. That was 1 hour before my first pang of labour pain. My baby was born 10 hours later! Yep - I agree - looks like a big goober!
