I've always said the same thing about the size of the baby...it doesn't matter how big they are...it's really only the head circumference that counts hey.

One of my friends had a 9.5pounder, but his head circumference was (I think about) 36cm, so he was a rather big all round boy - to the point the doctor was fighting to pull his head through - apparently he was a rather burley doctor and even his arms were trembing...ouch!. But then I had a rather small baby...6 pounder (or 2.72kg) with a 3.5cm head circumference and I still had 2nd degree tearing. So either size it hurts, but we both are prepared to do it all over again (she had bub #2 recently - also a big boy and we are planning a 2nd very soon) - cause we know that the pain is all worth it when you get hold of that beautiful baby.
