YAY!!! Congratulations again Alibaby, and thank you for sharing your birth story! I'm so happy for you that you got the birth you wanted and you have a very supportive DP that's wonderful Yay for baby Ashlyn!!

eta - when I read the part where they stitched you up, that's how it was for me! Although I had 3rd degree tears and internally but when they put the needle in, they had to do it 3 times for some reason!! (training doctor) and they put stitches in the wrong places also and it hurt so bad!!!! LOL

OMG ali- You brought me straight back to the delivery room when i was having DS. Its aweful being stuck on the bed and trying to do something to ease that pain... Even with DD and the inductyion i was stuck on the bed but made them let me up... That pain is just so strong when laying down and you can work through them. The same thing was happening with me with DS. I would push and then stop (like the movies) until she said push and dont stop was when DS's head came out... So werd how the body just kinda slips out... I always though its cos my vagina had no more feeling... LOL... ... Not funny when they put the local in and you relise you its not numb... haha...

You had me in tears about the looking at DD and then DP... Its so overwhelming...

You did such a fantastic job... Going to have a peak at pics now... Congrats
