Squidipa, the APGAR scores are tests that they do on your baby the check their breathing, colour and reflexes. Some babies that are slow to start may have a lower APGAR than others and may need the test repeated more than twice - my third baby had APGARs of 6 at 1min, 7 at 5mins so had another one at 10mins which was 10. The max score is 10. I think Kel was surprised the scores were so good because Allegra was blue and took a bit to get going.
