o it took about 10 min before another contraction came so by then another midwife was stnding there and told me that if they stopped they are not real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where do they get that rubbish from? I was having vague twinges all evening the day I had mine. They stopped at 10pm for over half an hour. If someone had told me what they told you when I rang the hospital, I would have had a homebirth, since I had the baby at midnight and the contractions didn't get really painful (or closer than 10 minutes) until maybe 11:45. Our hospital isn't as crowded as yours though!

And you wonder why there is so much intervention when people don't have births that 100% follow the way they 'should' go
