Congratulations on a great birth,
that is one thing I learnt too, the doctors and midwives don't give a **** unless you scream in their face and tell them what to do.. Although even then they just tell you to shut up..
Well done for putting up with the stitches!! That is awful! You should write a complaint about that one!!

congrats on the birth of your little girl.
I too was given stitches after DD1, not even offered gas so I know how you feel. You can still make a complaint, I never did (a few issues though) and wish I had of!

I would contact the hospital and ask where you can send in a written complaint.
When you do though try and leave all the emotion out of it, state facts and explain how it made you feel but try not to ramble about small insignificant details IYKWIM.
