Thanks Cheryl for sharing your story hun!! I hope (and know) that Olivia will go from strength to strength - you are such a wonderful mum. Thankyou also for the insight re lead-up to elective c-section surgery. My last c-section was unplanned so I know this time will be a little different for me. Big hugs to you sweet!

Thankyou so much everyone.... You all mean so much to me. Mwah... and loads of hugs.

Well an update on Olivia, it wasnt until 5 weeks and 3days Old that Olivia finally hit her birth weight of 2380grams, and now at her pediatrician appt on Friday she at 7weeks 3days old she is now 200grams heavier. 2580grams. So we all are really happy that she is putting on some weight, maybe not what other babies tend to put on which is around 200-300gm a week, but for her size a healthy 100gm a week. Olivia is now 50cms long and has a HC36cms. I am so relieved about her hc, especially with her small fontenelle (soft spot).
My GP told me that she is now at the size of a newborn, which I already knew that. hehehe.
Olivia is smiling so beautifully, as soon as I can get a pic of her while she is doing it I will place it in the gallery. She is just too curious and just stares when the camera is on her lol.
Our heart ultrasopund has now been put back to the 12th Feb, yet thankfully the pediatrician isnt too concernd about her heart, which is a good thing, so he said not to worry about that.

Thanks again everyone and I will keep you all informed on how Olivia goes. hugs....

Anna - All the best hun with your upcoming labour. Cant wait for you to be holding your bubba. hugs

    HI All,

I just wanted to update you all on V. She had her U/s done on her heart today all is normal except for a freckle type spot on her heart in her left ventricle. I was reading in her blue book and they called it a echogenic focus. They said it can appear on bubs with chromosomes problems but also appear in healthy children too. Anyway will know more in a copuple of weeks time. thanks and hugs

I should also mention that they believe that it is not affecting her heart as her heart appears normal, which is a relief.
