My MW asked me to push with a slight raised voice too. I could hear her trying to sound normal. I knew she's the last person to fret for no reason so I trusted her it had to be done. I didn't feel any anxiety though- just as you described. I could totally relate to that part.

I'm really glad we talked about it so much though because I over think things and it would be haunting me now. It was after F's head was out and I was pushing hard but he didn't budge a millimetre. She was concerned she should have seen at least a teensy bit of movement. When I pushed again he still didn't move and that's when she asked me to push hard. She said next step was going to be to have to get me to stand up and do fancy moves which would have killed the labour vibe. I had no idea at the time. That's also why I tore though but that's okay- I feel like it was for a reason rather than my first birth in the birth centre where I tore because I was told to push hard because my 2 hours of pushing were up
