Thank you everyone - I really wanted to get everything down before I forgot and lost my memory to sleep deprivation! The hopsital has internet so DP brought the laptop in which is great.

I also wanted to add that I would have been lost without my wonderful support team - my DP Cory, my doula Kelly and my OB Nicola (yes middle name after her). Cory was great at making sure I didn't dismiss my instincts, Kelly's words "you are doing the right thing" got me through and Nicola basically saved our lives by getting us into theatre and getting Juliette out so quickly.

Thanks to my wonderful team xxx

WOW Nai - good on you for following your instincts.

A huge congratulations to you and Juliette for her safe arrival, and to your fabulous support team. It must have been very reassuring to have a great Ob and Doula there with you.

    Congrats again

    Nai,

Congratulations on the arrival of your darling daughter!

Congratulations on listening to your body, and speaking up and acting! You must feel really empowered! You have turned a very scary experience into something so positive.

Thank you for sharing such an important story, a cautionary tale, with us all.

I hope your recovery is swift and that you are home and settled with your bubby very soon.

Nai, Congratulations on the arrival of little Juliette. Wonderful news!!!

Sorry to hear about your uterine rupture. Mine ruptured during labour with DD2 (I was booked for a c/s but went into labour early) lucky they got me to theatre in time before anything really bad happend. I have now been told no more kids, are you able to have any more?

Apparently my repair is good for 1 more but would be a c/s at 37 weeks. I don't think we will be taking that risk though.

    Wow Nai!

You had a brilliant support team to hold your hands and you must have felt so supported and nurtured. Good on you for trying for a VBAC and for knowing when to trust your instinct when it didn't feel right.

Love the ticker pic BTW! Genevieve must be smitten

Congratulations on the safe arrival of your little princess!
It is so important to listen to your body and the only thing that matters in the end is that mum and bub are H&H.

    Well done
