My DS wouldn't drink from a cup or bottle until he was 16 months old!
We tried quite a few but I didn't bother too much as he wasn't going anywhere away from me. Is she starting there because you are working? Or going somewhere else? I guess I'm just thinking if you have options, you can always change your mind. I know we (women/mothers) often feel we have to follow through on something like this, but sometimes changing your mind is ok too (if that's an option for you)
Anyway - the cup that finally worked was a simple cheap one with a straw! Much better than any of the fancy no spill ones.
