Hiya! Just catching back up after being absent for a long long time. Congratulations on your outrageously awesome effort. From one working expressing mumma to another - I can not even begin to express to you how proud I am of you (yes you woman I have never met.) Because I know how hard it is and I know how it feels to express, eat your lunch, return emails and call home to see how the kids are going all at the same time. You are a superwoman and while at some stage you may drop certain superwoman responsibilities and reallocate your time elsewhere, it doesn't make you any less of a superwoman. Congratulations hun, you are amazing and have done awesome. No matter what the outcome from here on in, be proud. Be very proud.

    Thanks so much, girls.

And welcome back, starangelk!! It's funny timing - I was looking you up just a week or two ago, wondering how you were ...

Today I was at home, and I gave DS2 four bfs over the day, but every single feed he's needed a meal or a bottle too.

And I'm officially dropping down to one or no expresses per day at work.

As in, I'll still aim to do one a day, but if I'm too busy, or if I want to take a break rather than do a pump, then that's ok. I am giving myself permission, with the knowledge that DS2 is eating great, is 95-99pc and I have done a good job nourishing him til now.

And I'll keep giving him bf before and after work, as needed, but I am acknowledging that this is now more about bonding and cuddles than actual milk.

    And that too is ok.

I keep reminding myself that this is ok, and this is the natural progression of things.

    I'll get there.

    I will.

    I'm sure ...

Yes, you will. It might take some time, but you will. You know how amazing I think you are.

Re: The beginning of the end

    you absolutely will get there.

you've managed a challenging balancing act for a long time now and it is ok to take time back.

your little man looks very happy, healthy & well nourished. this is a natural progression.
