I bf DS1 to sleep till he was nearly 2 1/2 & I'll do the same for DS2. Once I weaned DS1, I lay down with him till he fell asleep & it continued our nice quiet time together. From memory his only feeds were to go to sleep after about 14 mths, DS2 still has random extra feeds as well as feeding to sleep.
