Love this post! I think everyone should read this to understand why breastfeeding mothers are passionate about feeding their babies.

I have persistent reoccuring thrush in my nipples and haven't eaten sugar or wheat in 20 months to control the symptoms. I have fed through cracked bleeding nipples for weeks at a time, mastitis, reoccuring blocked ducts and through illness. To tell me to stop feeding my baby because it is weird to some is to negate all I have endured to give my child the best start in life.

Breastfeeding matters to some of us, and I think this week we have seen that. I'm not telling anyone else to make breastfeeding a priority, only respect that it is a priority for many of us.

You're amazing little_o. I remember your posts and I'm so glad you've had some good feeding times...ther are plenty more to come! You're an inspiration!
