Lucinda is 10 months old and still breastfeeding (yay!) which makes her my longest breastfed bubba.
She has started on those Nuby soft teat sippy cups for water on the really warm days - she has had one for a while but has only shown interest recently. Whilst drinking, she will grab the teat between her top & bottom teeth and pull the cup away making a foonk noise. The problem with this is she now does this on my nipple when she has finished a feed. Most of the time I take her off myself but there are times where I forget. There is nothing worse than forgetting and relaxing whilst feeding to end up feeling as though your nipple has been ripped off by super sharp little teeth.
I have no idea how to stop her from doing this and fear this will be the thing that makes me wean her. She also does this when something distracts her. Any ideas how to stop this? I'm in pain and dreading her next feed
