    It won't be long and you can eat all of those things again, the first 6 -12 weeks are the most sensitive period on their gut.
    I always wonder if it's the immature gut, and not the mother's diet, and that's why it sorts itself out in that time frame?

    Lots of good suggestions for helping her feel more comfortable here - hope it eases as she grows

    She shouldn't even be born yet. She should still be inside you, but that wasn't working. That little digestive system is so brand new and sensitive. Even though the 2 weeks you've had her seem "long" things will change on a daily basis. As she gets some muscle tone she will be able to expel air more easily. She's prem - your milk is not defective. (and it's not right for anyone to suggest it is! You are feeding her the best thing possible.I doubt that it is wind that means she doesn't suck. She needs a little of 'tincture of time" - that's all!
