    BF with Sebaceous Cyst

    Hi

I have a sebaceous cyst in my nipple. Has anyone else had this? It's like a grain of rice under the very top layer of skin. I had an ultrasound to confirm it wasn't cancer, but it does grow very slowly.

Will this hurt when BF? Can I still BF?

    Ta!

Well mine is actually in the red part of the areola, and I scar really badly (prone to keloid scarring) so the doc doesn't want to remove it. I have lots of other smaller ones too all around the edge of the areola. I'm also concerned because my grandmother said that's what her cancer looked like!

    Was yours big?

Has anyone else around here had a sebaceous cyst? What did it look like (are they pretty different in size/shape/looks in general)?

I've got sebaceous cysts all over my body. I will probably end up with some around my nipples when it is my time to start breastfeeding.
