Yeah, we don't have the issue of another sibling.


I think theoretically, it's worth trying to resettle if it's not that long since he fed. But for us, in practise, it's me that gets up to DS, not DP, and the way DS wants to be settled by me is to have a nipple in his mouth. Even if he's not hungry, he's more likely to wind down and get back to sleep sooner if I 'feed' him than if I just cuddle. if DP happens to go in, DS will happily be cuddled back to sleep.
