It could be silent reflux. Mel's baby had that and as soon as it was sorted out she was an angel. I'm not sure what you need to do to have it checked out - maybe see your doc, I think there is a test for it. Also can anyone lend you a sling which will hold her upright - I'm thinking a mei tai or SSC, our resident slingaholics can probably give you an idea of the best option.

    you're doing a great job

Well I had a visit from the mchn today, who is also an LC and runs the local bfing clinic. She came just after a feed and spent two hours with us, until dd finally settled.

In her opinion, it is silent reflux- pixie, you were right - with a bit of colic thrown in for good measure. She advised me to take dd to the GP over the next few days and get some Zantac to trial her on, and see if that makes a difference. Medication is probably not my first choice but I'm at my wit's end here. Crossing my fingers it makes some kind of difference..

    Aww, the poor bub .

Do you know of any paediatric chiropractors in your area? The one I go to has a lot of success with treating reflux babies. My DS2 had reflux and our chiro gave his shoulder an adjustment and gave me advice on feeding. Within a few days his reflux was gone.

I hope you find a solution soon so you can have a break .
