Congrats hon and yes, it still hurts second time round. Bummer! It should back off though and if not, she may have an attachment issue. DD2 was a brilliant feeder so it was odd that my nipples were so badly damaged within a week. My LC found her posterior tongue tie at around 2 weeks of age which had caused all my problems. Her tongue tie was snipped but I exclusively pumped for around 5 weeks to heal my nipples. I exclusively BF her til 12 months then mixed fed til just after 13 months. So get your LC to check things out again soon, she may have a TT.
