I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I can get rid of a blister thing that I have on my nipple (well it is more on the areola next to my nipple) I have had it for over 3 weeks now, and it is just getting bigger and sorer. It is a very big red area about the size now of a 50 cent piece. I have been to my GP who said it could be thrush related, so did the Dactarin thing, but that didnt help. I used a nipple shield for a while just more for pain releif for anything, and am using Lansinoh to try to give it a layer of protection to lessen the pain IYKWIM. There are no white spots on it, and there doesnt look like there is anyhthing under the surface, it is just very red and angry looking. It is also the side that my DS prefers, so no hope of giving up that side for a bit, as otherwise he would probably give up feeding, and it is too early, especially as we havent started solids yet. Any help would be appreciated.
