I am hoping that this oversupply is only temporary but I just wanted to check I am doing the right thing.

Last Thursday-Saturday was hot hot hot... so DD was feeding much more frequently than normal right from Thursday. The day(s) following this feeding frenzy my supply increased to meet the demand... but now that it is cooler DD has resumed her 'normal' feeding schedule and I am left feeling quite full even after a feed.

I've no idea how many feeds DD has in a 24hour period (cause I have read on BB that it isn't the amount of feeds but the output of the feeds so I don't bother to count the feeds ) but nappy wise she is having between 6-7 wet disposable nappies each day. She poos usually once a day (in the mornings) and has started to go a few days between poos which I know is normal for a BF bub.

In terms of what I am doing re the oversupply, well I am just feeding her as normal. She is demand fed and if needed I am expressing off the bursting feeling - watching for any lumps and expressing them out or facing her chin towards a lump if she is having a feed. The supply has not settled yet and I know it might take a few days.

I haven't had any red areas but have had sinus issues so wouldn't have noticed any flu-like symptoms as I already have them (and have had for the past few months ). As mentioned I have had a few lumps but they have expressed/fed out.

Is there anything else I should be doing to settle the oversupply? I mean I am loving the extra boobage (only ever had boobs once I was pg & then BFing) but I am a bit over the excessive bursting feeling and the leakage - oh the leakage!! I am leaking through double Maz pads
