I used Motiluim full time for 6 months, 6 a day.

I couldn't drop ANY tablets without a decrease in milk supply,but I was exclusively expressing with a pump, no suckling at all....

I stopped after 6 months as there are no studies on long term high dose Motilium for babies and I didn't want to take the risk of it having bad effects on my son... Within a week I had no milk.....

I was advised to go off the tabs VERY slowly, but nothing helped... any drop in dosage meant less milk for me... I know a few mums who's milk also dropped immediatly, and others who weaned off and went on to feed fine... so I'm thinking it must just be something that is different for everyone....
