My DD is 5months old and exclusively breast fed. She has always been gassy but I thought it would have eased by now as she is no longer a newborn.

Her sleep frequently seems to be affected by wind, often wakes and lets a large amount of wind off. Last night in particular she was waking every hour and a half to two hours with wind. Her wind has also been quiet smelly lately, especially since her poo frequency has changed to once every 7ish days.

So I guess my question is what is normal gas or is there possibly other issues going on?

I am going to see the MCHN on Friday.
