ok well my left breast is sore sorta feel like its bruised not sure wat it is maybe a blocked duct and if it is one of those how do i fix it?

Warm face cloths and or shower with lots of massaging, also feed from it to help draw the milk out

OUCH! Can feel any lumps in there?? I know I wasnt always able to at the start because of all the swelling but nice hot shower and massaging towards the nipple, it will hurt like all get out to start with but you should feel the lumps disperse over time. Followed by a wheat bag and then a cool pack if your breast is feeling a bit overwhelmed with all that heat sometimes gravity can assist, so get on your side on all fours to feed bubba J. HTH. Nearly 3 months feeding~ well done hun

That used to happen to me too hun....doesn't it hurt like crazy?!

I second the above posts, and also found (if you can find the time), standing in the shower, massaging towards the nipple while under the warm water also helped, cause the shower helped to relax me at the same time...

Sorry to hear that, mate.
When she is feeding, can you massage the sore parts? That might help any possible blockages to move along.
It's not actually bruised is it? Like, does DS ever grab or pinch you excitedly?

lol snacks im pretty sure shes a girl unless shes hiding something but she has been pinching me but its like inside not on the outside so far we have been massaging and trying to get her to feed it out will try the shower later on bit impossible with a little boy running around with pasta packets lol

When trying to get her to feed it out, I found acrobatic feeding really worked - that is getting bub chin lined up with the sore point, which sometimes means some very odd feeding positions - e.g. once I was on all fours dangling boob into CJ's mouth - but it worked for us every time.

I agree! I had bad blocked ducts for the first 3-4 months. Also my electric toothbrush over the area helped (my nipples would be blocked, and the toothbrush would gently break the skin over the blockage)

LOL, yeah I know she's a girl, ya dope. I was talking about Jamie. I imagine an almost 3mo doesn't have much of a pinch on her just yet.
