My second son was born at 37 weeks and was not well at all.. He was tube fed and bottle and breast. He was feeding ok but was on both breast and bottle when we went home. I think his issue with not taking to the breast properly was the meds he was on made him sleepy.

so I guess what I am saying is I can't see why you wouldn't be able to use both the bottle and breast to get their weights up to go home.. but continue along the same lines at home but start offering the breast more and more..

I ended up at 7 weeks deciding to express full time and I was lucky I had plenty of supply and continued full time expressing till he was 10 months old when my milk dried up due to a pregnancy.
