I'm in a teeny 2 bedroom granny flat. I have only just enough room for the cot & single bed in the kids room. When I have visitors DD sleeps in my bed with me, someone gets her bed & I can fit 2 people on my L shaped lounge. The most I've had stay over was 5 people, that's when I had a single bed set up for DS so there were 2 single beds in the kids room (no cot). DD was in bed with me, DS in a porta cot in my room, my sister in one single bed, my older niece in the other bed, my teenage niece & nephew (brother & sister) were at one end of the lounge each (L shaped so they pretty much had one lounge each) & my nephews girlfriend was on the lounge room floor but of course made her way next to my nephew on the lounge as soon as we were all in our beds
It is squishy but if it doesnt happen often then I think it would be ok
