Change of agent mid lease - what happens to bond?

The email I got this afternoon says "Please be advised that (Agent A) are no longer Managing Agents for the above premises. (Agent B) have been appointed as the new Managing Agent by the owner.

Please do not pay any more rent to our office. All future payments should be forwarded to (Agent B) by payment method as they will advise you. "

We're not actually in a lease period at the moment - it expired in November - and I'm really confused by it all.

Thats all you need to worry about then. Some agents will do things differently, like inspections (some every 3 months like clock work, others not so much), but be assured that anything there is to worry about will be forwarded to you in some way.
I've changed the accounts my rent payments go to & thats it. I've not been under a lease agreement since December 09.

Thanks Just need to find somewhere else to live now! It's a relief that I don't have to find the money for another bond while trying to get the bond money together for a new property.
