Curious - Rental amounts

We are in the C group. We have the same dilema - we want a bigger house (currently renting 2 brm with no garden - little but nice), but to afford a bigger place we will need to leave this area, but we like it here!! What to do?

We're paying $360 a week for a 4br timber house about 10km from the CBD.
We are moving out and it has been relisted for $420 per week. They'll get it too, that is actually cheap for what it is compared to other places in this area.

We're leaving Brisbane because rent is getting obscene. We are saving for a house and will be able to do it in half the time in Toowoomba - we can rent a new brick 4br w/aircon, dishwasher in a nice area for $280-300 up there. It's a no brainer.

trust me, if i could get over my hatred for humidity (and our doggy wasnt a samoyed), we would be up there, or the like very fast!! There is some good value up that way....
