For those who have had an elective c-section.........what was it like compared to an emergency one?

I am - at this stage - having an elective c-section for this pregnancy. My last two were emergencies so having the epi etc was sheer relief (posterior labours, failed to progress even after being induced!) but it already feels weird this time. Kinda like skipping to the end of the book to find out what happened!

Just wanted to hear others stories (only the nice ones pls ).....kinda feeling nervous already!
