Is it your first c/s? If it is, it's quite natural being uneasy and scared about it all. I've had a c/s with my LO, and quite honestly, I was freaking out big time before hand but it was OK. I was scared of the needle going in the spine (that was a breeze for me) and then I worried about being awake for everything (that was OK too, as they kept me distracted and I didn't feel the pain just some pulling sensations) but what I freaked out slightly about was not being able to feel my legs for ages, lol. The feeling came back soon enough though! GL hun, you'll be fine I promise. The recovery is longer and harder than after a natural delivery (I had a natural delivery with my first born), but it really isn't that bad. I got up on the second day and was walking about.
