for us all. Definitely not easy.
Would have loved to hear about this in the media though, I would never have known! There would be many others the same I think.

Oh that's cool.
I had my first emergency c/s last year, and my second "elective" is next Tuesday.
Very exciting!
I think NCAD is a great idea. There certainly long lasting effects from it. I had an emergency c/s 12 months ago.
Thanks for letting us know about it.
How bizarre, it was exactly 6 months ago today that I underwent my "emergency" c/s - hate that terminology so much!! And I've also been doing a lot of thinking about it (again) the past week or so.
Thanks for letting us know Sarah.
A good day to let people know that 'elective' c section does not always mean 'wanted' c section as so many assume.
I always use the term 'scheduled' caesarean, as opposed to 'elective'. I did not 'elect' to have a c/s, one was 'scheduled' because, due to placenta praevia, I could not go into spontaneous labour.
Hopefully the next awareness day I'll be celebrating will be VBACAD!
