I've had 2 c-section, one private, one public. The second one was public but I was able to bring all my prior records with me and discuss the options with the drs before the op. I have a bad reaction to a couple of the meds and this was noted on my file (I saw it get noted) and I reminded every dr and midwife every time I saw them. It can be a better experience, just be sure of yourself and have all your history with you at each appointment.
