I think it vareis from OB to OB to who think's you can have a VBAC or c/s.

Do the OB's think that your next baby will be in the same position to warrant a c/s?

I know that ob's are generally worried if you fall pg quickly after having a c/s that the internal scaring can tear apart (as it did in my case) and you'll need an emergency c/s.

What are YOU comfortable doing? Do you feel there is a need to have a c/s this time round?

Perhaps wait to closer to your due date and see was this little amigo is doing before making the call.

thanks very much for your responses so far, they have said that because she was breech the way she was there may have been a reason and its possible this one could be the same guess we will wait and see.the thing is my ob who i talk to is only a shared care gp who wont actually have anything to do with the birth so might wait until i speak to the ob who will be delivering the next one which ever way it is and get there opinion also and then way it up a bit further down the track.

Cause thats where I had my babies and they are really good with VBAC's...extremely supportive and wont do a c/s unless its necesary (even if the baby is almost dying in you )

nah not in shepp maz and not close either ill be having bubs in wangaratta so ill wait till i book in with them and see what they say and go from there i think.

I say - flood yourself with information and then make your own decision. You are only confused now as its been thrown on you. You will also find that there are many many people that have an opinion on this sort of topic.....so.....again arm yourself with information and then surround yourself with positive people!

A breech baby does not necessarily mean a c/s, you can vaginally birth a breech baby if you so wish.

There is a quite famous Ob in newcastle who specialises in vaginal breech birth, John Bisits, and I personally know women who have birthed their breech babies at home.

All the best, VBAC is certainly the safest choice for you and your baby, keep researching

Yes, I also know women who have had vaginal breech births, some planned some were unexpectedly breech.
