Google them. Go see if you can find reviews, or ask in a car forum.
I imagine they would be very exxy to maintain, specially being an import.

DH comments every time he sees a Great Wall ad. Apparently they weren't allowed into Australia until recently as the quality was so poor. Not sure what's changed to allow them now. Also, I wonder what sort of support (maintenance) is available given the limited number of dealerships, mechanics familiar with them and no Australian factory. I suggest google them to find reviews, but IMHO there's too many unknowns.

My cousin has one and raves about it..

Honestly, I had never heard of them. We do have a dealer around the corner and I have seen them there, but as pp have stated, they would be costly to maintain as there isn't the knowledge on them.

I would stay away from them, they are cheap for a reason and that reason isn't a good one.

I would stay away from it too, you would be better getting a used 4x4 for the same price it will be reliable and cheap to fix.

Miztique, what is it about them that makes you want to consider one? (Not bagging them, but a worthy question for whatever you are thinking about)
