Suzuki Swift

We are looking at getting a new (second hand) car. I was thinking a suzuki swift around 2005 - 2009 depending on price/no k's etc.

Does anyone have one? What do you think of it?

Specifically, do the rear seats fold down?
& how well would 2 car seats go in it?

We have the 2010 model.

Pretty zippy, very forgiving of gears. Got a heap of get up and go.

Car seats just fit. When DH is driving, DD1's legs get a bit squished, so it is more comfortable for the kids if it is just me driving.

Have not messed with the seats folding down due to the car seats. The 2010 model has a nifty double layer boot. So you can pack a heap of stuff at the bottom, then lower the panel, then pack in more.

Really happy with it. We had a 2008 Colt before it (got written off). It was roomier and I think the rear seats folded quite flat. Bit trickier with getting the right gear, the Swift for me is much easier to drive (I normally drive auto so manual is not natural to me). Fuel efficiency was much better with the Colt. Oh, the Colt did its job with the accident, all the right bits crumpled and DH got out of it very well considering how it happened.
