    Fricken typical - one of the hardest of the claims to get your head around and need advice for and they do that....

    I had luke 6 weeks ago and fille dout forms didn't even know I could do it online and had no dramas in fact got letter about the baby bonus and how much about 2 weeks ago so you can still fill out and send in the forms it took about 2 weeks from when I posted till the first baby bonus payment went in

    you have to fill in the form you get in hospital for all babies - but you have to do the full claim if you're not already receiving FTB for an older child - if you're already getting it for an older child, the simple form that you get in hospital (about 8 pages from memory) is all you need to fill in.
