It WILL catch up with him. It took 8years for CS to get a cent out of my ex after he didn't lodge a tax thing for 7years. CS even called me to tell me he wont pay so why don't I just drop it. They called another time to say he is voluntarily going to give me $50 a month and suggested I take the $50 monthly as its better then nothing and to drop the arrears (his assessment at the time was around $500 a month) He wont get away with it even if it takes 20years to get a cent. If he dies its still a debt so you would then be entitled to super etc. Just hang in there and one day you will get what your entitled to to support your children xx

That really sucks Clover, I hate hearing these kinds of things where fathers won't step up and provide for their children, really makes me angry! Keep fighting, hopefully one day it will pay off.

With my situation I called a few times initially and then basically forgot about it. All the time the arrears where going up and up and up so by the time I started getting some payment the amount was considerable high (close to the $20,000)
