I don't understand how $100,000/yr is not a lot of money? We are currently on $37,000 with 2 kids and one on the way, with a mortgage and we are doing fine. $100,000 a year to me is rich comparied to what we live on! We don't struggle, but we use our money wisely. We don't drink or smoke or even go out for dinner as it's not a necessity.

As i said before, we'll be using the money towards our homebirth. Even though we could have done without, it'll make it a whole lot easier.
