None of your business really what she is spending the child support money on.... Who are you to say that the $30 she spent on her nail (just a example) comes from the child support or from her money? How can you differ the two?

Are the kids homed, fed, clothed and schooled? If so the child support is being used appropriately.

And for what it's worth I get not a cent from my ex for 3 children and if he did pay there is no way in hell I would let him ask or dictate how I spend it.
It is my business when we are not only paying the centrelink determined child support amount but also paying for half of everything else. If child support doesn't cover these things, then that's fine and I am happy to pay. If school, medical, dental and activities are all INCLUDED in child support payment then it's not right that we are paying twice. I get a fraction of this amount from my childrens' father and I do not ask him to contribute to school fees, medical, dental, activities etc because I believe that the centrelink child support amount already covers these things.

Hence my question - What does child support actually cover?

Just wanting to know my rights so that I do not continue to subsidise the lavish lifestyle of a woman has nothing to do with me.
