Bills here, some for christmas, but unfortunately mostly bills. But it will be a good feeling to finally have some annoying little debts paid off.

If we got it I'd use it for what it was intended, to boost the economy. We are all struggling, and its not going to get any better if we don't help the economy too. So for me its either yeah sure blow $1000 like is wanted, or put it in savings and then struggle for twice as long as the recession continues? I dunno I've always been a bigger picture person.

Hmmm... I'm paying off the rest of dh's Xmas pressie and not sure what i will do with other $800. It will probably just get spread out over Xmas- travel, bills, etc. Juts be nice not to have scrimp on everything and live like we used to, pre-baby, for a month or so
I'm with Niliac on this one- it's a big picture thing. And this is the only time in my life I won't feel guilty about spending $1000 instead of saving it!!

I haven't had glasses for 18 months, so a pair of them will be nice although it will on the bottom of the priority list.

    1/4 of rates payment
clearing the last of my cc that is killing me in interest
    clothes for the kids
    new school uniform for DD1
    VCE books
rego for one of my cars to be sold early next year
    Xmas pressies

Sorry KRudd, I'm loving you for the $$$ but its a matter of survival for my little family right now....

mmm... we are using ours for Matilda's Occupational Therapy she desperately needs prior to starting school. That is unless they give her a diagnosis, than the goverment will help pay for early intervention, but in the meantime... OT appointments and swimming lessons for Matilda. Jovie's will be divided into our savings & the girls savings for the future.

hubby is talking a big plasma tv (so we can hand back our rental tv and save $10 a week)
and i want a new couch! (so the rest will go towards that) it will be nice to have more than just a 2 seater to sit on here... i'm sure our DD will appreciate not having to sit on her lil kiddy couch that she is quickly outgrowing....
