    You would get the single parent pension (until your youngest turns 6) and the family tax benefit a and b - which you might already get anyway.

    With one child I was getting about $950 a fortnight total with the pension and family tax - and 100% child care benefit which meant daycare was a cheaper for me too.

    Doesn't child support also offset some centrelink/FAO benefits??

    Child support does affect you ftb payments go online and do the calculators on the centre link site I would make sure you go thru child support and get them to collect the money so if he doesn't pay they can deal with it

    Thanks ladies, just did an online estimate, im really really suprised, we'd definetly be able to stay if i did it right!
