Hi just wondering if someone can have a look at my chart and tell me what you think? its my first month charting so i don't just want to get my hopes up if everyone else thinks that im not.
Hi, your charts looks OK. Unfortunately, sometimes classic "pregnant" charts result in a BFN, and the most unsuspecting charts can result in a BFP! All that really matters is you have ovulated, timed BD well, and had some EWCM fertile mucuous at the time. Seems you have all of these so you have a good chance.
Hang in there! 5% of perfectly healthy fertile couples take more than 12 months to conceive.
It does look good - but what PrincessXanthe said - it still could take awhile - dont get your hopes up cause that can be taxing and take the joy out of Trying!
I hope ur one of the lucky ones tho and fall preg really soon! fingers are crossed for you!
thanks girsl.. i know not to get my hopes up and i have no idea when af is due. last time i went 5 months without it but i apparently didn't ov that time either. i know it may take a while, but that doesnt' make it any easier. i will do as dory says"just keep swimming, just keep swimming"...
Hey Liz. Your chart looks promising but like you I don't want to get your hopes up! Only time will tell I'm afraid. Fingers are crossed for you!!
For future reference, you will have a much better chance if you are able to move your ovulation closer to 14-17days. The egg reaches its peak diameter (size) around day 14, and after day 17 the egg starts to shrink and 'dry out', making it less likely to be fertilised and more inclined to result in an early miscarriage (sorry - but it does help to know this - I have been down this road before with incredibly long cycles).
The good news is that Traditional Chinese Medicine and Naturopathy are effective means for reducing or lengthening cycle length - usually caused by a hormonal imbalance. Were you on the pill prior to TTC?
well im pretty sure af is on the way... my temp did a big drop today and i feel a bit crampy today. oh well at least if it does come then it means my cycles getting shorter and i did actually o at least.
thanks for all the support these last couple of weeks..
liz
It is a great thing that your cycles are getting shorter and you have a better knowledge of when you o, I found that this was the key for me, I also had long cycles and had no idea that I o'd so late so I was missing the mark by 2 weeks (you have proberly heard that before, I tend to repeat myself!).
Best of luck for next cycle and keep charting we are here to help and support you all the way .
Unfortunately I do think AF is on the way. But yay!!! From a 5 month cycle to this cycle is a wonderful improvement. Charting this month might also help you to predict in advance when you will ovulate next month, and time the BD really well.
